Postpartum visit schedules vary among midwives. In general, you will receive a postpartum visit at your home usually within 24-48 hours of birth. Then again at 3 days, 1 week, 3 weeks, and 6 weeks. 
At these visits, we will weigh your baby, check your and your baby's vital statistics, assist with breastfeeding as necessary, and provide any other counseling, education, and support you need.
