When I found out I was pregnant with our second son I dreaded those words "repeat c-section" since that was how my 1st son made his way into this world.  I knew I wanted a better experience.  I searched for midwives that encouraged VBAC, that wouldn't panic if I went past 42 weeks, and trusted a woman's body to give birth just as much as I did mine.  I finally found A Mother's Touch Midwifery and I just knew that this was it.  This was the care that I had been searching for.  My husband and I looked forward to our monthly prenatal appointments with Goldie.  Our concerns were never brushed off and we were educated, and involved.  My labor was long and Luca's birth was challenging but my midwives still encouraged, and never lost faith.  Kathy was a fantastic coach and both helped me achieve the healing birth that I needed.  I can officially say that I had a perfectly challenging HBAC, and would have never done it without such amazing support!!!!!
